Woodbury Ballet and Ballet Hartford join forces

In an exciting partnership that showcases the next generation of ballet talent, Ballet Hartford's trainees will join Woodbury Ballet for a special performance of "The Nutcracker" at The Palace Theater in Waterbury on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 4:00 pm.
This collaboration comes as Ballet Hartford's main company, led by Artistic Director Claire Kretzschmar, embarks on its multi-city tour to New York City, Philadelphia and Winston-Salem, featuring "A Ceremony of Carols". The partnership provides a unique opportunity for Ballet Hartford's up-and-coming dancers to gain valuable stage experience in a full-length classical ballet production.
Christine Harris, Artistic Director of Woodbury Ballet and recently appointed Ballet Hartford Trainee Program Facilitator, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: "This partnership allows us to combine the strengths of both companies, offering our audience a fresh and vibrant interpretation of this beloved holiday classic. It also presents an invaluable opportunity for our faculty to work closely with Ballet Hartford's trainee program dancers on a weekly basis, honing their technique and artistry."
