Christine Harris, Artistic Director
Christine Harris (she/her) is from Bay Shore, New York. She trained with Leda and Marina Eglevsky at the Eglevsky Ballet School and also studied at the School of the Joffrey Ballet, Purchase College BFA program and with Svetlana Caton-Noble.
Ms. Harris danced professionally on both the East and West Coasts with the New York Dance Theatre, the Lumiere Ballet and the Noveau Chamber Ballet in California. She performed soloist roles in several ballets, including The Nutcracker, Kismet, The Snow Maiden, Giselle, Hansel and Gretel, La Bayadere, and The Trials of Tamara (nationally televised). Favorite roles include Sugarplum Fairy (The Nutcracker), Fairy Godmother (Cinderella) and Marie Taglioni (Pas de Quatre).
As a dance educator, she attended teaching seminars with David Howard, Suki Schorer of the New York City Ballet, the Richmond Ballet, Marcia Dale Weary of the Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Nutmeg Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet. She traveled to Saint Petersburg, Russia in 2019 with the Open World Dance Foundation to study the Vaganova Russian method of teaching classical ballet technique in depth.
Choreographic credits include Beauty and the Beast, the Fantastic Toy Shop, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Cinderella, Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland. Ms. Harris was a ballet instructor at the Inland Pacific Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Rockwell Dance Center, Long Island Academy of Dance, the Conservatory of Dance, Naugatuck Valley Community College and as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Westover School. She served as Brass City Ballet’s Associate Director from 2000 - 2021. Additionally, she worked at Jacob’s Pillow, as a Development Associate with Pilobolus Dance Theater and as a guest instructor for Ballet Hartford. Most recently, she has been invited to stage work at the Taft School and has choreographed several musicals including The Fantasticks, Annie get your Gun and Fiddler on the Roof.
Ms. Harris also holds a Degree in Psychology. She spent a year studying dancer’s body image and completed a thesis entitled “The Relationship between Body Image, Self Esteem and Self Consciousness in Dancers and Non-Dancers”. As an educator, her goal is to teach her students to establish healthy relationships with themselves, while also developing clean technique and artistry.

Nicole Franco (she/her) has spent almost 20 years in the Healthcare Software industry. She started out as Software Support Specialist I & II, then promoted to Team Lead and eventually ending up in an Business Analyst role within the development team. She is currently employed as a QA Analyst within the Development Team at LectureLinx. LLX creates configurable compliance solutions for Pharma and Life Sciences Companies.

Hilda Morales, Artistic Advisor and Ballet Faculty
Hilda Morales, although born in NYC, grew up in Puerto Rico and started studying ballet and flamenco dancing at the Ballet de San Juan. At the age of 13 she received a Ford Foundation Scholarship to study at the School of American Ballet and thus began her extraordinary career in Ballet.
Ms. Morales appeared as a Principal dancer with the Pennsylvania Ballet, soloist with American Ballet Theatre, and artist-in-residence with the Colorado Ballet. Her film credits include "The Turning Point” (as Sandra) directed by Herbert Ross, Mikhail Baryshnikov's televised "Nutcracker" (Chinese doll), Live from Lincoln Center Presents American Ballet Theatre's Production of the "Sleeping Beauty", "Swan Lake", and "La Bayadere". On Broadway, she starred as the Acid Queen in the ballet version of the rock opera "Tommy", choreographed by Fernand Nault of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens.
Ms. Morales worked with many distinguished choreographers throughout her career including Antony Tudor, Agnes de Mille, Peter Gennaro, Ana Sokolow, Alvin Ailey, John Butler, Eugene Loring, Peter Darrel, John Neumeier, Rudolph Nureyev, Lynne Taylor-Corbet. And has performed works by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, José Limón, Frederick Ashton, Kenneth MacMillan, and Jeffrey Holder.
Hilda’s expertise as a teacher of ballet has been supported through her rich experience as a performer and in ballet pedagogy teaching seminars by world renown teacher David Howard, and Susan Brooker (examiner of the Cecchetti Society and the ABT Curriculum). She is a Certified Teacher for ABT's National Training Curriculum and has taught at the ABT School, Ballet Academy East, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Hartford Ballet, and currently teaches for the BFA Dance Division at the Hartt School.

Donna Bonasera (Senior Dance Fitness and Ballet)
Donna Bonasera is best known in the dance world for training dancers of the highest level technique and her memorial choreography for both the ballet and musical theater stage. Ms. Bonasera maintains a positive relationship with dance professional throughout the United States and abroad. She is constantly evolving and developing proper dance training programs based on the Vaganova Method of Classical Dance and Musical Theater based on the teaching of Lee Theodore, founder of American Dance Machine. Ms. Bonasera received a diploma from the Russian Choreographic Schools in Russia. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Connecticut Dance Theatre.

Kallasandra Fortier (Head Seamstress)

Here is where she first found her love of sewing helping out in the costume shop. In 2014 she started at Woodbury ballet under the direction of Randy Erica. This is where her love of sewing and costume design took off. She joined New York Dance Project as a dancer for the 2017- 2018 season, still sewing and helping with costumes whenever she could. In 2019 she was accepted in the Oklahoma City Ballet studio company for their 2019-2020 season. After coming back home to Connecticut, she decided to pursue sewing and costume design and became the Head Seamstress at Woodbury Ballet. Her dancing roles include Gerald Arpino’s Birthday Variations, Momix’s Solar Flares, and various roles in Woodbury Ballets Nutcracker at the Palace including Sugar Plum. Currently she works in a manufacturing setting at Kaplan Tarps in Vernon, CT. There she is their lead CAD designer and head seamstress where she designs and sews tarps that are shipped all over the world.

Allison Gould (Costume Mistress)
Allison graduated from Marist College in 1998 with a Bachelor of the Arts in History and Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Allison also taught kindergarten and 1st grade in Savannah Georgia before moving to Connecticut to raise her 5 beautiful children.
Allison began dance classes when she was 3 years old and spent her High School years dancing in the Company at Waterbury Ballet (which is now Brass City Ballet). There, she fell in love with the art of Ballet. When her youngest daughters started taking classes in 2013 at BCB, she renewed her love of Ballet and even started dancing again. She danced in many performances over the years including: The Nutcracker, Peter Pan, Snow White and Beauty in the Beast, to name a few. During that time, Allison also taught Dance Discovery. Because she spent so much time in the studio, she started volunteering in the costume shop and found that she truly enjoyed working with the costumes. Between her love of ballet and her experience teaching, performing, and costuming, she is now thrilled to be the Costume Mistress for Woodbury Ballet Academy.
Kyra Rosenberg (Ballet, Pointe, Repertoire)
Kyra Rosenberg began her dance career competing in a variety of styles before shifting her focus to ballet. She attended Bossov Ballet Theater where she studied the Russian Ballet Technique under Natalya Getman before spending one year at George Brown College in Toronto, Canada. There she expanded her training under a ballet focus in the Dance Performance Program while also taking courses in Modern Dance and Pedagogy. Upon returning to Connecticut, Kyra was offered a position with Ballet Hartford, a local professional Ballet Company. She has spent 3 full seasons with Ballet Hartford under Artistic Director, Leyna Doran and Claire Kretzschmar performing classical pieces as well as a variety of neoclassical works from local choreographers and Master Teachers. Kyra’s passion for dance carries with her in her teaching practices as shares her training with up-and-coming dancers.

Lizzy Pawlak (Budding Ballerinas, Dance Discovery, Ballet Fundamentals for Adults)
Lizzy Lacombe graduated from the Woodbury Academy of Ballet in 2018. She was involved in numerous shows at WB, her last being The Ultimate Fairytale. Lizzy has been surrounded by the arts her entire life. She started dancing at the Connecticut Academy of Performing Arts at 3 years old. In 2012, she join the Woodbury Ballet family and subsequently the company where she performed in the Nutcracker performances at the Palace Theater and danced as the Harlequin Doll, Snow Corp, and Marzipan in the Nutcracker, just to name a few. She recently came back to perform in the productions of the 2022-2023 season Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty.
She has also always enjoyed theater and acting. She has played the role of the Stepmother in ‘Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella’ and Adelaide in ‘Guys and Dolls’. In high school, she was the theater and show choir choreographer. When she entered college, she participated in the Tunxis Theater and performed at the Hole in the Wall Theater in New Britain, CT for ‘The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).’
Outside of her life here at WB, she works as a dental hygienist. She loves to spend time with her family, read books, and watch Marvel movies. Lizzy is so excited to come back to the WB family, teach the little ones and watch them grow up to be beautiful ballerinas!

Sarah Pellman (Budding Ballerinas, Dance Discovery)
Sarah Pellman began dancing when she was three years old and has continued to train as an adult. At the age of nine she joined Brass City Ballet, where she studied ballet, contemporary, and jazz as a member of their performing Company. Throughout her years as a dancer, she performed roles in the Nutcracker, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, and most recently performed in Woodbury Ballet’s production of Swan Lake. In addition to her love for ballet, Sarah has had the privilege of working in several community theater productions, choreographing numbers for The Music Man and Mary Poppins. In 2024, she joined the Greater Waterbury Children’s Theater, where she serves as Assistant Stage Manager and Assistant Choreographer.
Outside of the studio, Sarah is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist and works daily with children, teens, and young adults to build their language and communication skills. She holds a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders and a minor in psychology from Southern Connecticut State University. Sarah brings her background in language development and developmental psychology into her work as a teacher, and knows first hand how the arts can be transformative in a child’s life. She is so excited to be joining the Woodbury Ballet family, and can’t wait to watch her students grow in confidence and character both on and off the stage!

Peter (he/him) received his initial training with the Westchester Ballet Company in New York, under the directorship of Jean Logrea and Beth Fritz. With them, he danced many lead and solo roles from Nutcracker, Les Sylphides, Graduation Ball, Les Patineurs, Peter and the Wolf, and other classics. In Texas, he was Artist In Residence with the Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre while under the directorship of Patricia Thornton and Gari Boehm. Peter performed lead roles in the classics including Swan Lake, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, along with original works based on Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Additionally, contemporary works were created on him by guest choreographers, most notably Ron Cunningham, director of Sacramento Ballet. Upon returning to the New England area, Peter continues to enjoy teaching, choreographing and performing. Such credits include SoNo Dance, Ridgefield School of Dance, Wilton Dance, Woodbury Ballet, Connecticut Classic Ballet Scholarship Competition and other guest teaching/performing engagements.

Vanessa Slebonick (Dance Discovery, Jazz & Contemporary)
Vanessa (she/her) began dancing at the age of three. During her years as a dancer, Vanessa trained in a variety of disciplines including lyrical, tap, modern, contemporary, and jazz, but found her passion in ballet.
Vanessa graduated from Central Connecticut State University. During her time at CCSU, she was an active member of Dancentral where she choreographed and performed dance pieces that were presented at 5x5 Dance Festival, SHAPE America, and American College Dance Association (ACDA). She received the Estelle Jones Triarhos Dance Scholarship, which provides scholarship support for students who are outstanding in their dance performance and participation and have thereby enhanced the quality of the University’s dance program. She has had the privilege to perform “Miserere” alongside Jennifer Muller/ The Works Dance Company and collaborate with other dance companies.

Founding Artistic Director
Randyl Errica, Founding Artistic Director
Formerly of the Hartford Ballet, and graduate of the Teacher Certification Program, Ms. Errica is one of the founders of the Connecticut Dance Alliance and has served on the Board of Directors.
Ms. Errica also served on the Board of Directors of the Arts and Culture Collaborative of the Greater Waterbury Region and as a coordinator for the Connecticut Dance Festival. Ms. Errica continues to be a vital force in the promotion of the Arts in Connecticut.
An advocate for the Arts, her efforts have resulted in several successful collaborations with other Arts organizations and have won her recognition as a leader in the Arts community. Ms. Errica is also the co-director of the Connecticut Classic Ballet Scholarship Competition.
Ms. Errica directed and choreographed over thirty full length original ballets as well as staging and directing Woodbury Ballets annual "Nutcracker at the Palace" while with the ballet. She established the Woodbury Ballet in 1979 and retired from her position as Founding Artistic Director in 2022.
Formerly of the Hartford Ballet, and graduate of the Teacher Certification Program, Ms. Errica is one of the founders of the Connecticut Dance Alliance and has served on the Board of Directors.
